Since 2005, I have had the pleasure of working with businesses and organizations all over Canada and around the world. Over the years, I’ve gained experience in working with over 127 languages as a foreign language typesetter. My ability to read and write Arabic gives me a great advantage when working with right-to-left languages. I am able to properly mirror layouts, reading directions, and paragraph structures based on these languages. I have also received great reviews regarding my work with Far East and Southeast Asian languages such as Chinese (Mandarin and Cantonese), Korean, Tamil, Hindi, Punjabi, etc. All of the work I perform is carried out in-house and only by me; guaranteeing you total security and superior performance consistency.
A graphic designer by trade, I possess the skills needed to work with various desktop publishing software such as Adobe InDesign and QuarkXpress. On most occasions when graphics are involved, I also use various software from Adobe Creative Suite, including Photoshop and Illustrator. My workstation consists of an Intel-based Apple Mac Pro; permitting me to work in both Mac OS X and Microsoft Windows. I’ve gradually expanded my already large database of fonts for dozens of languages; which makes my final documents look as consistent as possible with one another. I also have special software to convert Mac-based fonts to Windows-based fonts and vice-versa if ever need be.
Over the past years, I have gained an excellent reputation for the quality and reliability of my services. My ability to work closely with clients and to deliver my services with professionalism and expertise has allowed me to create work of the highest standard; working with firm schedules whilst maintaining the flexibility often required in a production environment.
